Electrolysis

Electrolysis provides permanent hair removal by treating individual hair follicles and can be particularly useful for hairs that are not appropriate for laser hair removal, including white, gray and other hairs that lack sufficient pigment for laser treatment.

Because each follicle is treated individually, electrolysis is best suited for smaller treatment areas rather than large areas where laser hair removal may be more appropriate. Common treatment areas may include unwanted facial hair and other small areas of coarse or persistent hair.

Treatment time depends on the number of hairs and area being treated. Pretreatment anesthetic may be used for comfort, so please arrive 15–30 minutes before your scheduled appointment when instructed.

Skin Tags, Benign Lesions & Minor Skin Irregularities

LamProbe uses high-frequency technology to treat selected minor skin irregularities with precision. Depending on the concern and individual assessment, treatment may be appropriate for skin tags, sebaceous hyperplasia, milia, cherry angiomas, selected superficial facial vessels and other appropriate benign skin irregularities.

Moles and other undiagnosed or unidentified pigmented lesions will not be treated unless they have first been evaluated and cleared by a dermatologist. If a lesion has not been previously diagnosed, has changed in appearance, or raises any concern during your visit, treatment will be deferred until appropriate medical evaluation has been completed.
